SOLUTION
We enclosed the fibre sample in a black lacquered monolithic form, with very small ‘porthole’ viewing apertures. Removing the lid reveals the wool sample mounted on a detachable plinth.
The box was designed to be as minimalist as possible, but with enough intrigue to make further exploration compelling.
Escorial Wool is one of the world's most exotic super fine natural fibres. The brief was to design and make a display box to present the fibre to European fashion houses, adding value to the brand and highlighting the exclusivity of the fibre.
